Marvel Rivals Team-Ups Guide

Official team-ups can create powerful ranked moments, but they are not a reason to force a broken comp. Use this hub to connect official synergy names to practical Bronze-to-Platinum jobs, hero links, and source checks before your next queue.

Treat team-ups as jobs, not decorations

A good ranked team-up should make one fight easier to execute: protect the backline, start a brawl, punish setup, force a support cooldown, or stabilize a weak route. If nobody can name that job, use the team-up as a bonus instead of the whole draft plan.

Featured team-up read

Planet X Pals

Use it when
Use it when the team needs a protected backline pocket and a simple front-to-back fight.
Failure sign
It fails when Groot chases too far and leaves Rocket or Jeff without the setup they picked around.
First call
Hold the pocket first, then walk after the enemy spends the engage tool.

Featured team-up read

Gamma Fastball

Use it when
Use it as a short brawl-starting idea, not as permission for every player to dive at once.
Failure sign
It fails when the thrown or diving player has no exit and the rest of the team is still behind the corner.
First call
Call the landing target and the reset corner before committing.

Featured team-up read

Symbiote Shenanigans

Use it when
Use it when the enemy backline is winning too comfortably and your team can collapse on one target.
Failure sign
It fails when Venom enters before Hela or Jeff can follow the timing window.
First call
Force one support cooldown, confirm the pull or chase target, then leave before the counter-engage.

Featured team-up read

Arcane Order

Use it when
Use it when your comp wants controlled space, safer rotations, and one clean burst window.
Failure sign
It fails when every player takes a different side angle and no one protects the route back.
First call
Set the portal or angle plan first, then spend damage after the enemy crosses.

Featured team-up read

Parker Power-Up

Use it when
Use it to connect setup pressure with a mobile finisher who can punish enemies trapped near deployables.
Failure sign
It fails when Spider-Man chases away from Peni Parker's safe zone and turns the team-up into a solo flank.
First call
Bait the enemy into setup, then call the caught target instead of chasing the farthest support.

Ranked rule

Pick the job before the bonus

A team-up is strongest when it solves a problem your comp already has: engage, peel, setup, burst, sustain, or a safer rotation. If the job is unclear, the bonus can become a distraction.

Ranked rule

Do not break role balance for a name

Official synergy is not a replacement for a playable ranked shape. If forcing a team-up removes your only space-maker, support answer, or reliable finisher, fix the comp first.

Ranked rule

Use the first fight as a test

Give the team-up one simple call in the opening fight. If the timing fails, adjust route, target, or hero job before rebuilding the whole lobby.
