Pocket Rivals is built for queue help, not accounts or tracking. This page explains what the site collects today, what stays on your device, and what you should never put into a coach note.

The privacy page gives the data boundary in plain language: collection, storage, services, and choices for gameplay-only use.

Pocket Rivals is an independent companion site operated by one person. AI tools may assist with development, writing, and maintenance, but they do not run the site. Pocket Rivals is not affiliated with Marvel Entertainment, NetEase Games, or MarvelRivals.com. Only send gameplay details you are comfortable using in a public queue-helper tool.

What Pocket Rivals collects

Static tools such as the tier list, counter picker, hero picker, official info hub, and daily digest do not ask for account details, real names, or contact information.
Match Analysis sends the match details you type, selected hero, rank, map, mode, side, problem type, optional enemy hero, and optional recent coach-memory context to the server so the coach can answer.
The site uses your request IP address only to create a salted hash for rate limiting. The raw IP address is not intentionally stored by Pocket Rivals for the match-analysis quota table.
If you turn on anonymous coach samples, Pocket Rivals may store the selected match context, short match-note excerpt, coach-output excerpt, and hashed IP in Supabase to improve the free coach.
Pocket Rivals does not have a public support inbox or website contact form today, so the website does not collect support messages directly.

Browser storage

If enabled, local coach memory stores short match patterns in your browser so future coach reads can account for repeat issues.
Local coach memory stays on your device unless you submit a new Match Analysis request while the memory toggle is enabled, in which case recent memory is sent as part of that request.
You can clear local coach memory from the Match Analysis page. Browser tools may also clear local storage.

Services used

Vercel hosts the site and may process standard hosting data such as request logs, device/browser details, security telemetry, and Web Analytics. Vercel Speed Insights records performance measurements without building a browsing profile for an individual visitor.
OpenAI processes Match Analysis prompts and returns coach responses. API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models by default, but OpenAI may retain them temporarily for service operation and abuse monitoring. Do not submit private information, account credentials, real names, handles, or contact details in match notes.
Supabase stores rate-limit records and any anonymous coach samples you choose to share.
Google AdSense may use cookies, web beacons, IP address, device identifiers, browser data, prior visits to this or other sites, and ad interaction data to provide, measure, personalize, and improve ads when ad runtime is enabled. Users can opt out of personalized ads through Google Ads Settings.
External links, including MarvelRivals.com source links, are controlled by their own privacy practices.

What Pocket Rivals does not do today

No user accounts.
No payments or subscriptions.
No newsletter signup.
No public contact form.
No sale of personal information.
No affiliate links. AdSense is configured through the site owner's publisher account and should be paired with Google-required consent handling for applicable regions.

Retention and choices

Local coach memory remains in your browser until you clear it.
Rate-limit records are periodically cleaned up after they are no longer needed for quota enforcement. Anonymous coach samples may be kept while they are useful for improving the free coach.
You can avoid optional coach-sample storage by turning off the anonymous coach sample checkbox before submitting Match Analysis.
You can avoid local memory by turning off the local coach memory checkbox or clearing saved memory.
For ads, users in regions covered by Google consent requirements should receive the configured AdSense Privacy & messaging or certified CMP flow before ad personalization relies on consent.

Children

Pocket Rivals is a general Marvel Rivals companion tool for ranked players and is not directed to children under 13.
Do not submit personal information about a child through Match Analysis or any future contact channel.

Contact and changes

Pocket Rivals does not currently have a support inbox or collect support messages through a website form. A public contact channel should be added here before the site starts collecting contact requests directly.

If a new feature starts collecting different data, this page should be updated before or alongside that feature.
