Can I heal the team without standing in the most obvious dive lane?
Strategists lose fights when they are either too far away to support the team or so exposed that every enemy can reach them. The balanced position usually sits near a corner, near a teammate, and near a retreat path that keeps line of sight long enough to stabilize.
Do not hide so deep that your team cannot receive help. Do not stand so forward that the enemy can pressure you for free. Shift with the fight and keep asking whether one teammate can turn for you without abandoning the objective.
If the enemy has dive pressure, choose one button that is reserved for the real commit. Spending every tool on poke makes the next jump easy. Holding one answer changes the fight: it buys time, forces the diver to leave, and gives your team a clear target.
After you use that answer, reposition immediately. Surviving the first jump is only half the job; the second half is leaving the spot the enemy now knows.
Your view of the fight is valuable. If a teammate keeps breaking line of sight, tell yourself what they needed from you: a shorter angle, a safer rotate, or an earlier reset. If the same teammate dies out of reach every fight, use Match Analysis or the hero tools to decide whether your position, their path, or the team shape is the real issue.
