Devil Dinosaur

Don't let his name scare you - Devil Dinosaur is actually a gentle giant. But with razor-sharp fangs, a mighty sweeping tail, a thunderous roar, and a force-field shield gifted by his human partner Moon Girl, it's no wonder why heroes and villains alike are intimidated by this prehistoric powerhouse!

Vanguard plan

1Lock when

The lobby needs this job

Creating a huge frontline problem when your team can shoot through the space you force instead of watching you brawl alone.

2Swap when

The pressure pattern repeats

Swap or shorten the engage if enemies farm your hitbox before your team can convert the pressure.

3Practice first

Queue with one habit

Before each fight, choose the teammate who benefits from your pressure and stop advancing when that teammate loses sightline.

How Devil Dinosaur should create ranked value

Play as a simple brawl Vanguard: take short paths, force attention, and leave before your supports lose sight.

Editorial note: this section is Pocket Rivals advice for everyday ranked lobbies. Use the official source panel for canonical ability text, then use this ranked read to decide what to practice next.

First job

Pair with a second Vanguard or a durable Duelist who can hold space when you reset.

Practice next

  1. 1Use engage tools to start fights from cover.
  2. 2Hold one defensive or displacement tool for the exit.
  3. 3Peel for supports when enemy divers ignore you.

Avoid

Do not spend every cooldown crossing empty space. Arrive with at least one tool left.

Ripped across dimensions from a prehistoric world, Devil Dinosaur found a best friend in the young genius Moon Girl. This dino-riffic duo keeps Manhattan's Lower East Side safe with the perfect balance of brains and brawn.

When the Timestream Entanglement hit, Devil was sucked into a temporal anomaly and ended up on display in the Collector's Gallery. Devil eventually escaped and found sanctuary in Deadpool's Monster Kingdom on Staten Island. Upon receiving Moon Girl's distress signal from inside the time-tossed Alchemax HQ, Devil stomped into action to save his BFF.
